Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Races & Demos
The Ontario Summer Splash SUP Race Series stops in Collingwood featuring demos and races through Collingwood Harbour. From 4 distance categories to sprint races and team races on Blu Wave’s giant SUP, these events are real crowd-pleasers and lots of fun for participants. Anyone can participate in distance categories: Elite (8km), Open (5km), Novice (2km) and Youth (1km). Details

Harbour Boat Tours
1.5 hour tour, exploring Collingwood’s beautiful harbour rich in maritime history and learn some interesting facts about the once active Collingwood Shipyards famous for side-launching new ships. Enjoy the rugged beauty of the Collingwood Terminals, cruise by the Nottawasaga Lighthouse and the Mary Ward Shoals with the picturesque escarpment in the background. Departs Saturday, 3:30pm and 5:30pm and Sunday 11:30am and 3:30pm. Sunset Tours aboard the Huronic cruise along the Escarpment as the golden sunset disappears behind the bay. 7:15pm-8:45pm.

Side Launch Brewing Dockside Bar
Enjoy the excitement of Sidelaunch Days with a cold beer from Side Launch Brewing Company. Awarded Canadian Brewing Company of the Year, Side Launch will be serving some of their favourite beers from their dockside bar at the north end of the Promenade. It’s the perfect location to watch the paddling and sailing events, and of course the 2-day wakeboarding competition!
2-day Pro & Amateur Wakeboarding Competition
Experience the thrill and be astounded by the sweet flips and crazy tricks performed by pro and amateur wakeboarders in a 2-day competition! Cheer them on from the promenade, enjoy summer at the Dockside Bar. Details

Kids Craft & Activity Centre
Create old fashioned hand held games and build your own balsa wood plane. Then, take your plane to the Wooden Airplane Flight Zone and test its abilities in the Longest Flight Challenge. Presented by Eggsmart Collingwood Eatery and the Healthy Kids Community Challenge.
Healthy Kids Active Play Area & Wooden Airplane Flight Zone
Enjoy classic road hockey, giant games, and active play activities for all ages. Presented by the Healthy Kids Community Challenge and Eggsmart. Try out your wooden plane for distance.
Endurable I Dockside Tours
Step aboard the Endurable I and meet members of the Collingwood Watts Skiff Club who constructed this replica skiff. Learn about the history of the Watts Skiff in Collingwood.
Sailor for a Day in a Watercraft Simulator
NEW! Incredible interactive watercraft simulator that has programs to make you feel like you are sailing a Great Lakes Freighter – even one like those that used to ‘Sidelaunch’ into our Collingwood harbour, or a Passenger Ferry like the Chi-Cheemaun. Waterside Yoga Session
Join Shirlee Williams from Buddha Rider Yoga and Cycle studio for a FREE all levels yoga class. Join AXED mobile throwing club on our 20ft fully caged, wheelchair accessible trailer and experience the rush of getting your axe in the target! Instruction, safety and coaching provided. Try Out Wakeboarding!
For the week BEFORE Sidelaunch Days weekend, you can try out wakeboarding in the beautiful, safe and protected Collingwood Harbour. Get on your board and grab onto the cable as you are pulled through the wakeboard course, get up guarantee or it’s free! August 6-10, 10am to 6pm daily. For all details click here.
Kites over Collingwood
Bring your own kite or pick up and decorate a complimentary one on site and enjoy the winds at Millennium. Or just relax and watch the professionals with their colourful array of large scale kites soaring high above Collingwood Harbour!

Water Rescue/Safety & Flares Demo
(One Performance ONLY) Brought to you by Georgian College Centre for Marine Training and Research. SUNDAY ONLY at 10:30am watch a daring water rescue and safety performance at the Sidelaunch Basin, including a stunning ‘flares’ demonstration!
