Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Races & Demos

The Ontario Summer Splash SUP Race Series stops in Collingwood featuring demos and races through Collingwood Harbour. From 4 distance categories to sprint races and team races on Blu Wave’s giant SUP, these events are real crowd-pleasers and lots of fun for participants. Anyone can participate in distance categories: Elite (8km), Open (5km), Novice (2km) and Youth (1km). Register at ontariosupseries.com

Harbour Boat Tours

Collingwood Harbour Tours by Summer Bound include a 1 hour narrated tour that roams the waters that once launched 250 m ships. $10 per person, children 12 and under free. Sunset cruise is 1.5 hrs in length. All tours depart from 15 Heritage Drive beside the launch ramps on the road to the terminals. Family fishing charters available on request.  Summerbound.ca

Harbour Water Taxi

Harbour Water Taxi

Collingwood’s first water taxi lets people travel between four Collingwood harbour locations via boat. Only $5 per boarding. Bikes can be accommodated onboard. Stops at the Promenade at the North end of Hurontario Street, Cranberry Marina, Harbourview Park, and Heritage Drive Boat Launch Ramp.

Parade of Lights - Boat Parade

Watch all kinds of boats parade from Cranberry Resort/Living Water out past Millennium Park and then back into the harbour past the Grain Elevators and the dockside area before returning to Cranberry. Endurable I will be decorated dock side or anchored in the harbour. Presented by the Collingwood Yacht Club.

Enjoy the excitement of Sidelaunch Days with a cold beer from Side Launch Brewing Company. Awarded Canadian Brewing Company of the Year, Side Launch will be serving some of their favourite beers from their dockside bar at the north end of the Promenade. It’s perfect for watching the paddling and sailing events and close to the vendor promenade.
